What is a Flash Day in tattooing?

Flash refers to the ready made designs you will find hand painted or drawn on the walls of tattoo shops and in tattoo books. A flash day is an event put on by tattoo shops, where artists get an opportunity to come up with a new sheet of ready made designs especially for the event, where clients can come, no appointment required, and simply choose from the designs on offer for the day.

Will my tattoo be cheaper?

No – Flash Day does not mean Flash Sale (which is a common misconception, some people get confused by). However prices will be preset and can sometimes be a better deal, as these designs are ones artist want to tattoo.

Flash Day just refers to the types of tattoos on offer for that one day. Flash designs only, painted specifically for that day.

That’s why it is important that you get down there early and choose the design you want on the day.
